Step:1 Discovery and Proposal
We meet the client at their space and obtain their design ideas, budget, measurements, and all other pertinent information needed to provide a detailed proposal that meets their needs. We then create and provide the proposal as fast as possible, usually within 72 hours. This process often requires post-proposal discussions with client to finalize the details of the project prior to creating a contract.
Step 2: Contract
A detailed proposal and contract are presented and signed by all parties. We then discuss timing, tentative scheduling and responsibilities. A deposit is placed on the project at this time.
Step 3: Project Management and Selections
KO Custom Builders will introduce project management tool to client. CoConstruct is our company’s preferred project management software used on large projects where clients will have full access to their project details. After we build the client’s project into the chosen tool the client will then have access. This is where selections, schedules, finances, change orders and communication take place. The client is provided a selection sheet to begin making selections.
Step 4: Final Design
Clients, Engineers, Architects, Cabinet Builders, Designers, Suppliers & KO Custom Builders Project Manager meet at the job to finalize every detail. After this meeting, all materials are procured to ensure there is an uninterrupted workflow once the project officially begins.
Step 5: Execution and Close Out
At this stage, all materials, slections and design decisions have been finalized. Material procurement is complete and we are ready to start the build. A finalized schedule is provided and our project managers work hard to ensure as seamless an execution of the client’s vision and experience. At close out, a punch list of items is provided by the client, which are all promptly scheduled and resolved to officially complete the project
Step 6: Warranty
Once the build is complete, the client’s project is moved to “warranty” status. The client can easily manage any request in the same client portal for the duration of warranty period.
